Mission Cycling Travel had another incredible year of cycling trips.
First there was our Italy trip in May, where we spent a week in Chianti, Tuscany. For a whole week we had the entire region to ourselves. Light traffic on the main roads and NO traffic on the gravel roads. We started each day with a brisk climb up to Dante's for the day's first coffee and ended each day with a meal cooked at our villa by our own chef. In between, we experienced indescribably perfect riding.
If you like cycling, eating the most incredible food in the world, and enjoying espressos in the place espressos come from, with rolling vistas of vineyards, olive groves and ancient stone villages, then this is the trip for you.
Then, In July, we returned to the home of our “MC Alps” Trip in Vénosc, France. This is the trip that started it all. Situated minutes from the base of Alpe d’Huez and several other of the most famous climbs in the Alps, we brought an entirely new crew to our home in the mountains. As usual, we faced the unrelenting challenges of these mountains together and, by the end of the week, our group of individual riders had become a tight-knit team.
There’s not much more that hasn’t already been said about the French Alps. The pristine nature, the epic climbs, the historic peaks of Tour de France. Except, perhaps, one thing that hasn’t been said: “I’ve done that climb.”
We’re already working on next year’s trips and a lot of you have told us you're planning on joining. Use the form below to reserve your spot and come ride with us in Europe in 2017.
